Camryn's Youngest Visitor
And 10 years later...
Cruising in a tuk tuk
Sipping fruit smoothies in Cambodia
The next day we visited the Grand Palace, home of the Emerald Buddah, and Wat Po, home to the reclining Buddah. I have to admit that my phone was dying so I didn't get many pictures, so more to come on another visit. Rather than taking a cab into the city, we took the river taxi along the Chao Phraya River.
The river taxi is a great way to travel into Bangkok for dirt cheap (50 cents/ticket)
Can you tell which one's the monkey and which one's the demon? Of course I'm referring to the statues, not the girls. The statues wearing the shoes are the demons, and those without are the monkeys.

This Standing Buddah may not have fancy feet, but at least he can stand up straight.
|
After two full days, Henry had an in-house massage, while Jason had his Thai lesson in the next room. Only in Thailand! But the girls were not neglected as they got mani-pedis earlier in the day.
How can you not want to come see us? And I didn't even mention authentic Thai meals, laundry service, dinner by the pool, and cruising around in the golf cart.
Now, we're ready for Cambodia! Up next!
